HEY – Watch. Connect. Share. is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for everyone who uses our platform. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
These Child Safety Standards explain the content and behavior that are prohibited on HEY and the actions we may take when violations are reported or identified.
1. Prohibited Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
HEY strictly prohibits any content, activity, or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

- Sexually exploit or abuse a child.
- Groom, solicit, or attempt to sexually contact a minor.
- Request sexual images, videos, or other sexual content from a minor.
- Share or distribute sexualized content involving minors.
- Encourage, facilitate, promote, or assist child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Arrange or facilitate sexual activities involving minors.
- Use HEY to identify, target, recruit, or manipulate children for sexual purposes.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent HEY's safety measures relating to child protection.
- Share links, instructions, or other material intended to facilitate the sexual exploitation or abuse of children.
Any content or behavior that violates applicable child-safety laws may be removed and may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
2. Zero-Tolerance Policy for CSAM
HEY has a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse material.
If we become aware of content that appears to involve the sexual exploitation or abuse of children, we may take immediate action, including:
- Removing or restricting access to the content.
- Suspending or permanently terminating the associated account.
- Preserving relevant information where legally permitted or required.
- Reporting suspected CSAM or child sexual exploitation to appropriate authorities or organizations where required by applicable law.
- Cooperating with lawful requests from law enforcement and relevant authorities.
We do not permit users to use HEY to distribute or facilitate access to CSAM.
3. User Reporting
Users can report content, accounts, or behavior that they believe violates our safety standards through the reporting functionality available within the HEY app.
When submitting a report, users should provide enough information to help us understand the issue, such as the relevant account, content, or behavior.
Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation are treated as a serious safety matter and receive priority review.
4. Action Against Violations
When HEY identifies or receives a report of content or behavior that may violate these standards, we may take appropriate action based on the circumstances, including:
- Removing or restricting access to violating content.
- Restricting account functionality.
- Temporarily suspending an account.
- Permanently terminating an account.
- Blocking users from creating additional accounts where appropriate.
- Preserving information as permitted by law.
- Reporting violations to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
We may take action without prior notice when necessary to protect users or comply with legal obligations.

8. Prohibited Attempts to Circumvent Safety Measures

Attempts to evade enforcement actions by creating alternative accounts or using other methods may result in additional account restrictions or termination.
